MISSION STATEMENT

I strive to be better, to be different. I am not in this to get rich! I will go above and beyond to make sure my clients and my caregivers are taken care of. I will be sure that my staff are paid fairly and treated with respect and appreciated for their hard work. I will expect nothing but the best for my clients. Quality care, compassion, and dignity! My plan is to charge the client less and pay the employee more. I have seen a lot in my many years in this line of work. I have seen what works and what doesn’t. I plan to grow but only so far. I intend to build a small family-oriented compassionate team. I intend to know all my staff and all my caregivers personally. I will always be involved and unlike a lot of other agency owners, I will be out there working in the field alongside you all. I will always be available to help with whatever I can. I am here to try to make a difference in the lives of my clients/patients and my staff.

I'm Jennifer Avery the proud owner of Compassionate Home Care by Jen LLC I've been a Certified nursing assistant for more than twenty-eight years. Consequently, whether I was working in hospice or medication administration, I've always loved the role that I played within the community. However, there were times where I felt overworked and underpaid. I also believed that some of the bigger companies failed to make a connection with their clients. It's inspired me to be different and make a significant impact. Since starting my business four months ago, I've been growing slowly by rendering quality care and establishing myself one client at a time, I'm a caregiver at heart, so I treat clients with respect which allows them to live with dignity. Besides, I work with integrity, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my compassion for my clients and caregivers. Therefore, my philosophy is to charge clients much less than competitors while paying caregivers much more than the industry average. While it doesn't sound like a robust business strategy, I didn't start the company to become rich overnight. As a result, having the confidence to start my enterprise without knowing the first thing about business fills me with immense satisfaction. Moving forward, I would like to grow while staying small enough to be on a first-name basis with all my clients and staff. When I'm not organizing home care, I like to draw and paint. I also love being by the water and basking in the sunshine during the summer. I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things that matter to me and how they influence my business.
